The Eliminate Roof Blind is manufactured in the UK and is aimed at the residential Roof Lantern and Skylight market.

The Eliminate Roof Blind is very similar in design to the SHY ZIP roof blind and uses very similar technology, except this blind is better suited to the residential market due to the sizes available and the overall look. JRS who make this system have been around for over a century making blinds and awnings for the trade and their experience is second to none.

These flat roof roller blinds work extremely well at reducing heat, glare and UV, with a variety of fabrics from the Mermet range of screen fabrics to also offering black out density options should you need them.

The Eliminate roof blind consists of a head box which contain the cloth, the roller tube and the constant tension spring system, you then have a bottom box which contains the motor, you also have two side channels where the fabric slides inside, this fabric is held captive inside these channels. A ZIP is welded to the edge of the fabric and helps to create tension width wise, the motor and constant tension spring system help create tension length wise. The motor on this blind pulls the fabric out of the head box. The head box and bottom box is slightly rounded in profile and come in two different sizes depending on how big the blind is, all of the metalwork is powder coated White as standard but can be powder coated in any RAL colour for an additional charge should you wish.

Operation of these blinds is a via remote control handset or a wire free wall switch, all the motors specified by Radiant Blinds are the Somfy RTS motors, all Somfy motors carry a 5 year guarantee and we have found to be the best and most usable in the UK market. The RTS motors work off a radio signal meaning that you do NOT need line of sight to operate the blind, the signal from the remote control will travel through walls, ceilings, plaster word, brick and even concrete. All Somfy motors are 240v and require an adequate power supply to be put in place for Radiant to connect the blind too, we are happy to liaise with your builders or electricians to make sure the correct power supply is installed to the correct place to keep the installation as neat and tidy as possible.
