At Radiant we always try and work out what the best solution would be based on what your requirements are, now External Shading will not work if you have a raised Roof Lantern but if you have a flat Skylight then this may be something worth considering. If you want to reduce heat and glare this can be a far more effective way, also you do not have any of the normal blind fixtures and fittings inside the home and so not compromising your interior decor. The external fabrics come in a huge choice of colours so again we are sure to be able to find a suitable fabric that compliments the room which the blind is covering, the metal work of the blind can even be powder coated to match your existing windows and doors so it looks in place when fitted to your home.
All the External Shading products we install are motorised, so you will need to make sure you can get a power supply to the blind, operation couldn’t be easier, you can choose a remote control handset or a wire free wall switch, being wire free means it can even be located inside a cupboard and the signal will still travel through walls, ceilings and roofs. These blinds come in very wide widths so we can cover Skylights up to 6500mm with a single unit. You can even add a Sun Sensor to your blind meaning that it will automatically close should the Sun come out and thus reducing heat, shading your home for when you return.
So overall an External Shading solution may well be the option for your home, if you want anymore help or information please call 0208-390-8755
